Increase your Fish/Salmon oil or flaxseed oil. That stopped my need for any drops. Bless you, Karen

vaccines

I would say to definitely call your doctor.  I am on Orencia and can get a flu shot because it is a dead virus.  I can’t get the shingles vaccine because it is a live virus.   Joyce

general vaccine question

Hi group!  I saw my rheum today and, duh, forgot to ask her about my DTaP.  I am due for a booster.  I vividly remember that my last dose was in 8/99 when I joined the Navy.  Does anyone know how this works with the biologics?  I thought I’d try to get the skinny before [...]

Question about Provigil

Hi. I haven’t posted for a while, but still been here. My pain is under control, but not the fatigue. I’ve read good things about Provigil helping the fatigue of RA, but my rheumy says that since the FDA hasn’t approved it for RA (even tho they have approved it for other [...]

Solu_medrol Inj. Question

Hi Amy - Solu-medrol is actually methylprednisolone, so that is why all of your Rheumatic symptoms eased so quickly. Injection is quicker acting than oral, but you are limited to the number of injections you can get - the side effects are the same as the pills for long-term treatment - bone loss being a [...]

Simponi? Lisa

Yeah, I’m still in the process of thinking about it. I’m so sick of choking down handfuls of pills everyday. I figure I might be able to get through ONE shot once a week or better yet once a month. Yearly would be even better! LOL!

OT Question?

Just came across the following post on the DMSO list:
