That is what I was afraid of…it is an injection! Errgh! I hate shots. I’m looking for something else that isn’t a shot. But it looks like there isn’t anything else out there in pill form.

I was diagnosed with osteopenia back in 2003. I just had my bone density checked again, and although I still qualify for osteopenia, my levels have improved.

I too use to take MTX. It made me sick as well. So rheumy had me stop taking that and now I’m taking Leflunomide which doesn’t seem to work wonders for me.
