Lugol’s
I have a salt water aquarium and use Kent Marine Lugol’s solution. It’s only ingredients are deionized water, potassium iodide, and iodine. It nowhere on the bottle mentions bromide or fluorine. So that might be a better option.

It is most unlikely that Celtic (brand) sea salt will remove any bromide from the body. http://www.celticseasalt.com/PDF/CSSAnalysis-Jan2007.pdf By their own analysis each gram of “Flower of the Ocean Celtic Sea Salt” contains a third of a milligram of bromide. What would you use to remove the bromide from Celtic sea salt?! Vincent

I have looked up the commercial stuff (magnesium chloride) and it is full of other chemicals. Nothing too bad except for a rather high possible content of bromine 0.6%, which made it a nono for me.

Lugol’s from aquaria suppliers often contains bromine/bromide which is an undesirable halogen/halide. You might call the manufacturer for clarification.

I’m not too sure the bicarb thing actually reaches the bladder before it is ‘worn out’ (neutralized). However I cannot state that as fact or even experienced. It sure works on acid stomach!!!! Then again I know someone that was advised to use it for relief in IC (Interstitial Cystitis), a very painful ailment.

I think I misled everyone by not being careful in the wording. When I said I ’stopped following’ what I meant was that I don’t research it anymore. I never did the $60,000 thing.

Joe you should go the other way, for 2.61 you can buy a pound of the best sodium bicarbonate which quickly changes the pH of the bladder…just add some magneisum chloride and some iodine and a whole lot of other things and you will save about 59 grand.

Many have followed Burzinsky’s work and apparently the most success has been with malignant brain tumor patients. I stopped following his treatment plan because I also ran into the $60K+ price tag and was not even sure that Bladder Cancer was one that this protocol was specific for.

Dr. Burzynski’s therapy is one of the most promising discoveries in medicine, If patients can get access to his therapy, it could revolutionize Cancer Treatment. Sadly that is one of the reasons it has not been accepted or even heard of by most patients. arnold
