breast cancer-anyone cured?

It may seem odd that here, a guy named Joe is responding to whether or not anyone here has been ‘cured’ of Breast Cancer.

The word ‘Cure’ is such a difficult word to define when speaking cancer. If one has survived 2 years, can they say they are cured? What about 10? 15?

What Alternative offers is an opportunity to bypass the horrendously terrible record of ‘cure’ or rather, non-cure of Breast Cancer Metastasis.

Two years ago a person I know, one that edits Medical studies and puts them in readable material, sent me a yet-to-be published study that contained the following: “All treatment for breast cancer Metastasis is palliative”.

That blew my mind because this study admitted that, essentially, they cannot do much about it.

I, unfortunately lost the article. Nothing new with my computing, so I went on line and found this immediately:

http://journals.lww.com/journalppo/Abstract/2009/02000/Distant_Metastatic_Breast_Cancer_as_an_Incurable.17.aspx

This piece speaks to there being something they ‘can do’ about it. However, they first tell you that only 3% of the people are ‘cured’ and here again, what do they mean by ‘cured’? Only 3% of the people with Breast Cancer Mets? Not a pretty picture for Conventional Medicine to herald is it?

At 3%, if that’s all they could offer, I would try ’snake oil’ and hope to do better provided the snake oil didn’t make me suffer the horrors of these ‘heroic’ treatments thrust upon women hoping to be ‘cured’ by Dr. White-Coat. They are fooling these unsuspecting but hopeful women by using the terms: RESPONSE. They will tell you about the “high percentage of Response” they are getting using drug X, but all that means is the tumor has shrunk………..with ’shrinking’ having nothing to do with survivability………which they do not tell you. We sit in the doctor’s office, often in a daze, and we hear these encouraging words, “we are getting a good response” and our spirits are lifted. It’s a lie, a big and lucrative lie.

So, find a practitioner that works with Breast Cancer Alternatively and do better than the 3% –and hopefully by the time you read this, you will have found some much more encouraging e-mails from people that are around a lot longer than if they had allowed themselves to be subjected to a failed conventional treatment for BC Mets……..or survived those horrible treatments and have now taken control of their own destiny.

Joe C.
