Hi, Sandy asked if any of us had gone through chemo without experiencing “chemobrain.” I have not noticed much difference in my cognitive functioning due to chemo (6 infusions of taxotere/cytoxin). I am starting Arimidex this week.
That said, I am 56 years old, and have been experiencing some memory loss–I often forget meetings and such. I think some of that is actually avoidance behavior, because I tend to forget things that I don’t want to do in the first place! I have to write down appointments and chores or I forget, but I think I had to do that before chemo.
Someone mentioned that they had “floaters” in their eyes–I just noticed floaters lately.
